Pirch98 setup for #Women-Stress chat room on StarChat for computer users and instructions for Webtv access and special instructions for AOL users

Use any IRC like "swans lake" and use port #6667 and irc.starchat.net - Rooms name is #Women-Stress

For webtv / msntv users: you can use most any IRC's with these directions....
Server: irc.starchat.net
Room: women-stress
Port: 6667 / 6668
Op#: leave blank
Also can go to this addy http://www.starchat.net and you will see a list of rooms, ( in alphabetical order)

COMPUTERS "QUICK" ENTRY:

 AOL USERS SPECIAL INSTRCUTIONS: As an AOL user your nick MUST be registered for you to talk on Starchat. Go to http://www.starchat.net/aol.php for information and registration form..... Takes about 24 hours (b4 you can b seen talking in room), but well worth it…

PIRCH98 DOWNLOAD AND INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

To install Pirch98 and add the StarChat server to Pirch98, complete the following...

 Click on Pirch Icon to download Pirch98

Then...

 Double click on the Pirch98 file that you have just downloaded and install to your computer

 After Pirch98 is installed, open Pirch98

 Then click on "login"

 Click on "Edit Server List"

 Click on "Add Network"

 Type in StarChat

 Click on "Add Server"

 When the box comes up for General Properties, type in "StarChat" as the name, then "irc.starchat.net" as the Server and "6668" for the Port or "Lightning.MoUS.Starchat.net" as the server and "6668" for the port (do not put in quotation marks)

 Click "OK" and close box

 Then "login"

 Under IRC NETWORK, arrow down to "StarChat"

 Then under SERVER you should see "irc.starchat.net"

 Then type your nic and alternate nic below

 Then you click "CONNECT" and you have SUCCESS!!! ~ (I HOPE!)
